Never Meet Your Heroes? These Wrestling Content Creators Proved Otherwise

Trystan of Turnbuckle Tribe throwing up the horns with wrestling content creators Fatherless, Primos4Life, and Allenownz and Dan of Turnbuckle Tribe

From watching videos together as a family to meeting the people behind the content, Trystan's journey has reminded us that sometimes your heroes are even better in person.

How Wrestling Content Creators Inspired Trystan

Before Turnbuckle Tribe existed, we were simply a family who loved professional wrestling. We'd come across incredible content, like and share videos, and excitedly show Trystan interviews and clips from some of our favorite wrestling content creators.

From Allenownz and his incredible interviews with wrestling legends and superstars, to Fatherless and his hilarious, unapologetic hot takes, to Primos4Life and his thoughtful, unexpected questions that go beyond your typical wrestling interview, each brought something unique to the table.

And each, without even knowing it, was teaching Trystan something valuable.

For a young man who has faced challenges including speech therapy and other battles that aren't always visible, professional wrestling has always been his happy place. His dream of becoming a wrestling broadcaster has given him something exciting to work toward, even when the journey isn't easy.

The Challenges Most People Never See

Trystan lives with a rare connective tissue disorder, including Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, along with ongoing autoimmune challenges that affect nearly every part of his daily life. His joints stretch too easily, so his muscles have to work overtime just to keep his body stable, which brings chronic fatigue and joint pain.

His journey also includes heart conditions, chronic migraines, and a periodic fever syndrome that can bring on sudden, very high fevers. Managing it all means a team of specialists, physical and occupational therapy, bi-weekly injections, and mobility aids on the harder days.

Speech therapy has been part of his path, too, which makes his dream of becoming a broadcaster, a job built around using your voice, all the more meaningful to us.

Most of these battles happen where no one can see them: in doctor's offices, in therapy sessions, and on days when simply feeling well enough to get out of the house takes everything he has. To someone passing by, he may look like any other teenager. That's why we talk so openly about invisible illness, and why professional wrestling, and the people who create it, mean so much to him.

Watching these creators helped him understand that there isn't just one way to find your voice or make an impact. Everyone has different strengths, different personalities, and something meaningful to contribute. Perhaps most importantly, they've demonstrated that collaboration and supporting one another can accomplish far more than competition.

From Watching Their Content to Meeting Them in Person

There's something incredibly special about watching your child finally meet people he's admired through a screen.

What has meant the most to us isn't simply that Trystan has had the opportunity to meet these talented creators. It's the genuine kindness, encouragement, and support they've shown him along the way.

They've welcomed him, treated him with respect, and helped him feel that his dream belongs in this community, too.

As parents, that means more than we could ever put into words.

People often say you should never meet your heroes. These gentlemen have proven that saying couldn't be further from the truth.

Thank You, Allenownz, Fatherless, and Primos4Life

To Allenownz, Fatherless, and Primos4Life: Thank you for being yourselves, for sharing your talents, and for showing a young man chasing a big dream that there's room for everyone at the table.

Our hope is that one day another family will be sitting together, sharing a Turnbuckle Tribe video with their child, watching their face light up with the same excitement and inspiration we've witnessed in Trystan.

Because sometimes the biggest dreams begin with the smallest screens.

Dreams Bigger Than Diagnosis. ❤️🎙️
